The Dlubal Software development team is pleased to announce the availability of RSTAB 8.25 is a powerful analysis and design software for 3D beam, frame, or truss structure calculations, reflecting the current state of the art and helping structural engineers to meet requirements in modern civil engineering.


- Update of cross-section profiles of the company Schrag
- Implementation of cross-sections and materials according to ADM 2020
- Implementation of the member stiffness modification according to CSA S16:19 O.2.4
- Implementation of materials according to EN 10025-2:2019-10
- Adaptations concerning the display of cross-section outlines for tapered members
- Adjustments in the material database for aluminum according to the EN standard group - some series were split up to be able to represent the thickness ranges more precisely
- Adaptations concerning the consideration of the stiffness modification of elastic member foundations in the load case calculation parameters
- Update of Bentley import/export - support of ISM version 8.0
- Optimizations regarding the input of parametric stiffnesses for the member type "Definable Stiffness..."
- Adaptations concerning the assignment of the load duration class of load cases from RWIND Simulation
- Adaptations concerning the graphical display of comments in connection with visibilities
- Adjustment of the modulus of elasticity of the material VVS INOX (FATZER)
- Adaptations concerning the consideration of visibilities when selecting by means of the "Special Selection..." option
- Adaptations in the determination of shear areas of built-up channel sections regarding their upper limit
- Adaptations concerning the cross-section weight as well as the material volume of hybrid rectangular timber hollow sections




With RSTAB, Dlubal's structural analysis program for spatial frameworks (German: R�umliche STABwerke), you've got a powerful tool to cope with a variety of different tasks in civil engi-neering. System Requirements.
In order to use RSTAB without any difficulties, the following system requirements are recom-mended:
- Operating system Windows XP/Vista/7/8
- x86 CPU with 2 GHz
- 2 GB RAM
- 10 GB hard disk capacity, including approximately 4 GB required for the installation
- Graphics card with OpenGL acceleration and resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Onboard solutions and shared-memory technologies are not recommended
RSTAB is not supported by Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000, Linux, Mac OS or server operating systems.
No product recommendations are made, with the exception of the operating system, as RSTAB basically runs on all systems that fulfill the system requirements mentioned above. If RSTAB is used for intensive calculations, the guiding principle 'more is better' applies.
When complex structural systems are calculated, huge amounts of data are produced. As soon as the main memory is not sufficient for taking the data, the hard drive will take over, which can slow down the computer significantly. Therefore, upgrading the main memory will usually speed up the calculation more than a faster processor.
As the RSTAB analysis core supports several processor kernels, you can completely exploit the potential of 64-bit operating systems. For 32-bit systems the memory size used by the proces-sor is limited to 2 gigabytes. Therefore, more memory can be used with the 64-bit technology. If you work with a computer having sufficient RAM memory using a 64-bit operating system, it is possible to calculate also big models.
To calculate complex structural systems, we recommend to use the following configuration:
- Quad-core processor
- Windows 7 64-bit
- 8 GB RAM
