At the end of the course, you will understand the basic math used for certified welding inspectors (CWI) in the welding industry. We'll outline and discuss; how to properly read a decimal number to the millionth of an inch, adding fractions together, converting fractions to decimals, converting inches in fractions to millimeters in decimal form, calculate the area of a circle, tensile strength, percentage of elongation, heat input and carbon equivalency in metals.
