IDEA StatiCa. has brought a revolution to the engineering world by being the first - and only - software in the world to implement the new CBFEM method - based on finite elements analysis - which allows the code-checking of steel connections of ANY geometry and loading. The software performs a non-linear plastic analysis for all the elements in the joint - plates, bolts and welds, and supports Prestressed bolts, anchoring, and special contact elements between the plates.
IDEA RS. develops and sells software for structural engineers/consultants, construction authorities and all others who perform/evaluate/use structural analysis and design of constructions and their members. Our development team researches, tests and applies new methods of structural analysis.
