This next generation of mobile technology, with features such as Enhanced Mobile Broadband, Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communication, and Massive IoT, is set to radically re-shape today's mobile networks.This course made for Telecom professionals to understand in every detail about the 5G standardisation Process - process of tailoring the 5G technology to serve the market requirements and even more, by introducing new applications and services besides the traditional services introduced by the initial mobile networks such as 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G.5G spectrum, and its allocation for 5g deployment globally - This includes more spectrum in the 3.5 GHz, 4.8 GHz, 6 GHz and 10 GHz ranges which will all be considered at WRC-23.Spectrum sharing in 5G - permit 5G NR and 4G LTE to coexist, allowing network operators a smooth transition from LTE to 5G NR (NSA).The mmwave and Ghz frequency allocationFR1 and FR2 ranges : Two different frequency ranges are available for the 5G technology and the different ranges have been designatedBand width part defination, usage and utilization : In 5G, Bandwidth Part (BWP) is a contiguous set of physical resource blocks (PRBs) on a given carrier.Finally, the 5G spectrum,standardization,5G System requirements/5G NR Operating, and its frequency bands are summarised. 5G NR is the first ever radio system that is designed to support any spectrum.
