PSPaudioware PSP BBDelay is an analog-inspired delay and ambience processor designed around the sonic behavior of classic Bucket Brigade Device (BBD) technology. Inspired by a legendary 1980s BBD delay and ambience processor, PSP BBDelay models individual BBD chips, compander behavior, and analog circuit imperfections so that successive repeats can develop changing texture and character. The processing can range from conventional vintage echoes and ambient effects to more experimental delay treatments.
The plug-in combines delay, modulation, saturation, tone shaping, transient processing, ducking, and gating in a single processor. Multiple operating modes and synchronization options provide flexibility for both rhythmic and sound-design applications.
