Romax Technology has released an update to R17 release of their world-leading software suite, with new capabilities leading to faster and more powerful design, simulation and analysis for electrified and conventional drivelines, within a streamlined and integrated environment.

Software Update for Romax 17.0.0 (Update 13) build 149 - Issued: 29/11/2018

Fixes:
- An issue with the roller bearing truncation calculation has now been fixed.
- Fix for trying to get micro-geometry results for unloaded gear meshes.
- Added extra reporting for mesh misalignments affected by crowning helix modification (ISO 6336:2006).
- Fix for ShaftSupportSCResults object failure message when using Customised Reporting with detailed planet carriers.

        Before installing your Romax software, you must ensure that your computer meets the following minimum system requirements:

Operating System

RomaxDESIGNER can run either as a pure 32-bit process, or as a mixed 32-bit front-end application, with static analysis and FE analysis run in a separate 64-bit process. The following are the supported Microsoft Windows Supported Operating Systems:*

- Very large models
- Multiple large FE components
- Complex models with large duty cycles
- Complex NVH Analysis
