Photographs are more than just snapshots. When taken the right way, they become dramatic personal statements with the power to last forever. They can transport you to distant landscapes, capture fleeting emotions, recall cherished memories, reveal the beauty of daily life, and even change the world.

With recent developments in technology, we now take and share photographs almost instantaneously through online photo albums and social media-making this unique form of personal expression more central to our lives than ever before.

But when many of us take photographs, we simply point our cameras and click without being aware of what we're doing, what we're seeing, or how we can do it better. In reality, taking great photographs requires you to see as a professional photographer does; to train your eyes using the same fundamental techniques and principles the experts use to create unforgettable images from the grandest (and simplest) of subjects.

With Fundamentals of Photography, you'll learn everything you need to know about the art and craft of great photography straight from a professional photographer with more than 30 years of experience. Designed for people at all levels, these 24 lectures are an engaging guide to how photographs work and how to make them work better for you. National Geographic contributing photographer Joel Sartore has crafted a course that will hone your photographer's eye so you can capture the greatest moments in nearly every situation and setting imaginable, from a field of flowers to a friend's birthday party to a grand mountain range. Taking you both inside the photographer's studio and out into the field, this course is a chance to learn, in a way anyone can grasp, the basic insights and hidden secrets of photography.

Learn How to See Just as a Professional Does

The first and most important lessons you learn in Fundamentals of Photography involve seeing and thinking just like the professionals who make taking perfect shots seem like second nature.

Mr. Sartore teaches you the three features any photographer needs to have in place before snapping a shot:

Great lighting
Solid visual composition
An interesting perspective on your subject

By paying attention to these aspects (with help from well over 1,000 dramatic photos from Mr. Sartore's award-winning portfolio), you'll be better able to take the kinds of photographs that surpass their original situation and actually mean something to you and others.

Peek inside the Photographer's Toolkit

In the first half of Fundamentals of Photography, you'll become better acquainted with the basic features of cameras and how each plays a role in creating great photographs. Using nontechnical language, Mr. Sartore explains essential tools such as shutter speed, aperture, and lenses.

In the second half of the course, you'll learn to apply the basics of photography to the kinds of photos that people commonly take-and how to take them better than ever.

With Mr. Sartore as your guide, you'll be learning from a master of the craft; a professional photographer whose work has appeared in prestigious publications. So start making your own photos more lasting and meaningful with Fundamentals of Photography.

TrueFire - Jam Night Volume 3
(.MP4) in interactive shell | English | PDF tabs + MP3 jam tracks | 864 x 486 | AVC ~768 kbps | 29.970 fps
AAC 114 Kbps 44.1 KHz | 2 channels | 244 minutes | 1.75 GB
Genre: eLearning Video / Guitar lesson
For many musicians, going out to the local jam and playing with friends is their primary, if not only musical outlet. The goal of Andy Aledort's Jam Night series is to broaden your skills as both a rhythm guitarist and soloist, with specific instruction directed within the scope of standard, tried-and-true open jam night songs.

Each volume of the series includes 10 of the most popular songs played at open jams, all over the world on a nightly basis. The Jam Night series will help you develop both your rhythm guitar and soloing chops while teaching you a variety of ways to navigate through popular music's most common song progressions and stylings.

"I own all of the videos in Andy's Jam Night series. Learning two rhythm and two leads for each song was groundbreaking for me as it really opened up the possibilities of guitar arrangement for me. It's also a joy to learn full songs and rhythms and leads and play along to the jam tracks. Really enjoy Andy as a teacher and his style." - Tom Sweet, TrueFire Student

"In every edition of the jam night series, we're going to look at 10 chord progressions that are based on songs that are the most popular songs played at open jams all over the world, on a nightly basis."

My goal is to give you all the tools you need, so that you'll walk into that environment feeling confident, knowing that you can get up there stand there with the best of them and have at your disposal a variety of techniques for playing interesting rhythm parts, as well as expressing yourself through a variety of techniques for soloing."

Jam Night: Volume 3 features 10 new series of lessons, each themed to a popular progression used in a popular jam tune, and each series teaching two rhythm approaches and two approaches for soloing and improvisation over that progression.

The 10 progressions and grooves are patterned after the Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Come Together, Steve Cropper's work on Hard to Handle, Bad Company's Can't Get Enough, Muddy Waters' Hoochie Coochie Man, T-Bone Walker's immortal classic Stormy Monday ala The Allman Brothers, Allman's cover version of Junior Wells' blues classic You Don't Love Me, Rolling Stones' Wild Horses, Grateful Dead's Casey Jones and Goin' Down the Road.

Working with Andy's Jam Night series will equip you with the three most important skills you'll need to take to the jam stage; command of the popular song list, a diverse rhythm guitar vocabulary, and the ability to improvise fresh solos over popular song progressions.

Command of the Popular Song List: There are really only a handful of songs that are called over and over again at the local jams - they're the 'standards' of rock and popular music. You don't need to learn them note-for-note like you would for a cover, but you do need to be familiar with their basic structure.

Diverse Rhythm Guitar Vocabulary: You'll be playing a lot of rhythm guitar at the jams. The better your rhythm chops, the more you'll get asked to the stage because EVERYBODY loves to play with a strong rhythm section. Again, while your rhythm parts might be inspired by the original recorded version - you MUST bring some originality and diversity to the bandstand to keep things interesting over what could be a 15-minute jam on that song.

Improvising Over Popular Progressions: Jam songs are selected because they're familiar to players and audiences alike, AND they provide an interesting and very jam-friendly progression to play over. Your blues chops will certainly be helpful BUT they won't take you all the way there. You MUST be able to navigate your improvisations through a variety of other 3- and 4-chord progressions.

For each of these 10 popular jams, Andy will first overview the vibe, structure and progression of the tune. He'll then demonstrate and breakdown two rhythm guitar approaches, and then two lead guitar approaches - 20 rhythm approaches and 20 lead approaches in all.

Everything is tabbed and notated, plus you'll get all of the rhythm tracks to work with on your own.

A well plastered home is a beautiful home. The problem is that most people don't know how to plaster. There are many challenges to doing it well so gathering as much information and instruction as possible is critical. After all, like I share with all of my workshops participants, plastering matters most in your straw bale home's finish.

Start a Business and Travel the World in 30 Days
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 4 Hours | Lec: 32 | 5.24 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Ever Wanted To Travel The World? Now's Your Chance! Learn From Interviews With Experts Who Show You Exactly How

Chances are you don't love your job. But I bet you would if you could do it from a laptop on the beach in the tropics... It's currently 75 degrees and sunny outside as I write this, even though it's winter.

This course is specifically for people who are looking for something greater...people who want to break off from society's script and create total freedom of time and location.

This course is for you if you've ever wished you...

Had the ability to spend more time with your kids
Could wake up when you want
Worked for yourself, as your own boss
Could travel the world on a never-ending vacation
My name is Grant Weherley and I've started several businesses all while traveling the world and having crazy adventures.

>>The funny thing is that I make more money than most people I know who are being "responsible" in their cubicle-death back home! And to be honest I work quite a bit less...

I've made tons of ridiculous mistakes getting here, as most people do, and I want to share with you the exact framework I would use if I had to start over from scratch tomorrow.

More specifically you will learn:

The 6 most common mistakes with starting a business that you won't hear anywhere else (learned the hard way!)
The sliding scale of business models (and how starting at the wrong point can waste years of your life)
How you can quit your job and become self-employed starting tomorrow (and how I would do it if I had to start over)
The 3 phases of entrepreneurship, and how mixing these up will cause you to fail

Learning about Water & Groundwater in the basic Water Cycle
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 35M | Lec: 5 | 73 MB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Water is such an important part of our lives and we need to increase our understanding of water in its natural setting

Water is such an important part of our daily lives and we have a big influence on water in the natural environment.  We need to improve our understanding of this topic.

We use water and groundwater in our daily lives for a wide range of purposes. This varies from direct personal needs such as drinking water or personal hygiene to indirect needs such as generating electricity, supporting manufacturing, agriculture and mining.

That is why we need to talk about water and go on a journey to look at how water and groundwater occurs in nature - so that we can understand this dynamic process better.  This course sets a baseline to build this understanding. Our approach is to understand the Water Cycle (or Hydrological Cycle as some people call it) and this is the route that we will follow in this course

How to build a Powerful Memory and remember massive numbers
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 1.5 Hours | Lec: 12 | 0.99 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Almost 7000 students enrolled since launching in March 2018. Unlock More of Your Memory Powers with this Course

This  course has been created for people who want to unlock the power to a greater memory.

It doesn't matter if you are a student, professional, retiree or stay at home parent, you will benefit from this memory course.

This course will give you the basic building blocks to developing a powerful memory, especially for numbers.

The methods I teach in this course helped me to memorise an impossibly long number. I managed to perfectly store and recall Pi to 500 decimal places.

Enroll now and watch me recall this number on a white board. No games, jokes or gimmicks. Just pure memory!

I achieved this not by memorising the number, but by creating a visual image of the number.

This is the secret to building a powerful memory - creating photographic images.   I will show you the entire process step by step. You can apply this method to any type of information you want to learn.

If you can already do this, then you are a memory master already, and you may not gain much from this course.

But for the majority of us mortals, developing a powerful memory is extremely hard to do using conventional memory strategies.

However, when you learn the secrets to developing a powerful memory taught in this course, you will be able to remember anything you want.

I will show you how to learn all kinds of information: mostly numerical but also how to apply this method to facts.

Like me, you might be blown away when you discover what you are really capable of memorising.

MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 2 Hours | Lec: 15 | 518 MB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Keep Improving Your Knowledge of Grammar

Improve your English grammar knowledge by going through grammar tests with an English instructor. Learn how to find and fix common English grammar mistakes, so you can improve your English writing and, in turn, your speaking. You will also learn how to avoid making common grammar mistakes in the first place.

Increase Your Grammar Knowledge Quickly By Testing Yourself and Getting Answers

Twelve Mini Grammar Test Videos to Watch
Interactive Grammar Tests to Take
Twelve Printable Grammar Tests to Print Off
All Answers and Explanations Provided
When I give tests in my classes at my university in Canada, my students always ask lots of questions when I give the tests back and the students see the mistakes they have made. This is a very important time because while they are interested is when they are learning the best. If you are curious about why something is wrong, then your brain pays complete attention and you can learn and remember better. I duplicate this situation in this course by showing you sentences with mistakes in my videos. I ask you questions about the number, location, and kind of grammar mistakes, and you can pause and think about the answers. After you pause then I will give you all the answers so you can check your knowledge. This is how my students in my university classes improve their grammar quickly, so I know this method can help you, too.
